We are still taking sign-ups for this Laundry Love event but will monitor the COVID-19 situation closely to see if we will need to suspend this service to be in compliance with our Hawaii government’s request that we not gather in groups of more than 10.

We suspended Laundry Love on March 28, 2020 to comply with the directives of our state and local governments regarding social distancing. This is one way that we can show love to our neighbors and help flatten the epidemic curve. We will suspend operations until the COVID-19 crisis is past.

It was a difficult decision for us to make but we have decided to suspend Laundry Love on March 28, 2020. Our national and local governments have asked that people not gather in groups of more than ten. Since we usually have WAY MORE than 10 people at Laundry Love we have suspended Laundry Love until this crisis is past. We have provided vouchers for free wash and dry to our houseless friends in Waimanalo. These vouchers can be used at the Waimanalo Laundry Service March 28-April 3, 2020, 8 am - 5 pm.
